IMPORTANT NEWS FLASH FROM DR. ANTHONY EVANS 

President of The Urban Alternative 

It has come to my attention that Rev. Sun Young Moon has been using my participation at the inaugural prayer luncheon, to endorse his program.   

First of all, let me assert in as candid a way as possible, that I never had, do not currently have, nor plan to have any affiliation with Rev. Sun Young Moon and his organization. I was unaware in the past that he sponsored the event that many noted Christian leaders and I participated in.  I was invited to participate by an evangelical Christian who works for the Washington Times.  I was also unaware that my participation was being used by this organization.  I have written his organization a letter to immediately cease using my participation at this event or any statement given by me as an endorsement for him or his program.  Especially since I have not give him permission for such usage. 

Please be assured that I have not changed, adjusted, or compromised my Christian beliefs or Biblical theology.  While I will proclaim the truth of God and the glorious gospel of Christ to any and all who will hear, I have not and will not knowingly endorse the inappropriate use of my participation in this event to give the impression of an alliance that does not exist.  This inappropriate use might be heard on radio or seen in print, but as stated earlier, no alliance exists between me, the ministry of The Urban Alternative, and Reverend Moon. 

I trust this clearly addresses any concerns my friends and supporters have about the incorrect rumor of there being any kind of association or endorsement between me, The Urban Alternative and Reverend Moon or his organization.
